WELCOME TO SOUTHERN WATER POLO

Introduction

Southern Water Polo Club aims to provide athletes with a safe and enjoyable environment to learn the sport of water polo. Our club offers athletes an opportunity to learn from a diverse, experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff focused on guiding athletes towards a successful water polo career. Additionally, Southern Water Polo Club strives to teach athletes life skills such as accountability, communication, discipline, and leadership to serve athletes beyond the pool deck.

DO I NEED PAST EXPERIENCE TO JOIN SOUTHERN?

Southern is available to anyone interested in learning and playing water polo regardless of previous experience.

WHAT AGE GROUPS ARE AVAILABLE AT SOUTHERN?

Southern Water Polo Club is available for athletes between 6 to 18 years of age.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR SOUTHERN?

Athletes can register before the start of each season with the REGISTRATION tab on the top of the page or click on the registration link on the specific team page.

Athletes will also need to be registered with USA Water Polo. Athletes are recommended to register for the gold membership to participate in all local and national tournaments and events.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TEAM / ROSTER MY CHILD IS ON?

Athletes and parents can find rosters on the TEAMS page under the rosters section.

An athlete's age group is determined by their age on August 1st, 2022.

Practice times and locations are located on the home page and under the practice schedule on each TEAM'S page.
